The name Ilmberger stands for the highest quality and innovation in the field of carbon manufacturing. Each part is produced in our own facility, where we rely on specially developed prepreg as a base material for Ilmberger. This is processed in an elaborate autoclave procedure, which offers numerous advantages.
Prepreg, a pre-impregnated carbon fabric, is characterised by a uniform resin distribution, while maintaining a high fibre volume content. This results in maximum strength and increased flexibility of the components. By processing in the autoclave, a high-pressure oven that works under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, perfect, even curing and a flawless surface finish are ensured. This method prevents air pockets in the material and ensures consistently high quality of the parts.
