The panniers of the BMW R 1300 RT are exposed to a wide range of risks in everyday use: tight garages, dense city traffic, motorway congestion, car parks or manoeuvring on ferries can quickly lead to scratches, paint damage or material damage. This is exactly where our well-thought-out pannier protection pads come into play. The pads are made from impact- and abrasion-resistant natural rubber and feature a generous material thickness of 15 millimetres. Their three-dimensional shape not only covers the outer pannier surfaces but also specifically protects the exposed areas of the panniers. This allows forces occurring on contact with obstacles to be absorbed in a shock-absorbing manner, preventing localised peak loads.

This design effectively reduces the risk of paint damage, deformation or consequential damage to the panniers – in the best case, the protection pads allow you to continue riding unhindered after a mishap. The dynamic, integrated design blends discreetly into the lines of the BMW panniers and underlines their high-quality appearance. Installation is straightforward: the protection pads are bonded in place, so no drilling is required and the panniers’ watertightness remains fully intact.
