Wunderlich touring windshield MARATHON AIRVENTED – features the AirVent, an individually adjustable ventilation opening for hot days and reliable protection against rain and cold

As temperatures rise in summer, cities in particular heat up due to buildings and the abundance of asphalted or paved roads and squares. The same applies to congested traffic on motorways. To provide riders with a means of cooling down, our developers have come up with a clever idea for our windshield: they’ve integrated an individually adjustable ventilation opening that, when open in hot weather, allows refreshing airflow. In rain or cold, the opening can be completely sealed shut.

Beyond that, the MARATHON AIRVENTED includes all the advantages of our classic MARATHON windshields: The elegant screen provides optimal comfort and protection in urban environments, on long tours, and at high speeds. It is tilted toward the rider and shaped aerodynamically to effectively dampen and calm turbulence, reducing it to a minimum. Contributing to this is the fact that Wunderlich windshields do not require edge protection thanks to their hand-polished, rounded edges, which prevents additional vibrations, noise, or turbulence. The front silhouette of our MARATHON AIRVENTED screen is overall significantly larger – in both width and height – than the original screen. This ensures perfect weather protection for riders of all sizes. It integrates perfectly into the overall design of the BMW. It relieves the upper body, arms, and head of wind pressure, especially at high speeds. The 5 mm thick PMMA windshield is optically clear and provides a distortion-free view. It is characterised by high component rigidity, shape stability, and scratch resistance.
